A 13-year-old boy in Colorado has been arrested over the murder of a grandfather who was shot dead while on a bus.
Richard Sanchez, 60, was only a few blocks away from his house in Denver when he was killed on January 27 after he allegedly got into an argument with a teenager, according to Fox 31.
He was shot at about 6.40pm at the intersection of South Federal Boulevard and West Mississippi Avenue but his family only found out he died after they attempted to file a missing person report days later.
Sanchez was rushed to hospital but later pronounced dead. Another person was hurt in the incident and treated at the scene but did not need to go to hospital.
Denver police arrested a 13-year-old boy in connection with the murder on Thursday.

I don’t know why anyone would shoot someone who is already dead. Seems like overkill.

S Federal at W Mississippi is mostly Latino. The dead guy was named Sanchez. Probably the teen was Latino. There are Vietnamese in the neighborhood. Lots of Mexican and Vietnamese restaurants in the S Federal area.

But but but there are signs saying you cannot carry weapons on RTD buses or light rail. Ergo it should have never happen.
And I always obey the signs if I have to take light rail downtown.
Better believe it. There’s stories abound from the light rail debacle in Pugetopolis, Oregonistan and every other West Coast area.
So bad in fact, Sound Transit funded a study by the Fentanyl propaganda wing of the University of Washington to convince the riders and operators that breathing second hand Fentanyl smoke was not a hazard. Note from the pdf that almost 100% of the surface areas tested, showed positive for Fentanyl and Meth, no problem there, right? What if it would have been tobacco residues? OMG!!!
