One of the closest lightning strikes I ever happened to see was about 100 yards from me during a brief snow squall in SW Oregon, not far from Agness.
I’ve seen lightning strikes that close, but during normal thunderstorm season. Wow, bet that was a surprise!
Required an under garment change, I assume.
