New York makes it easier to get an abortion than to adopt a baby thanks in part to Hochul admin edict, critics say

New York makes it easier to get an abortion than adopt a baby thanks partly to a bombshell Hochul administration edict, critics rail.

Adoptive and would-be adoptive parents and their lawyers are blasting a rule recently evoked by Gov. Kathy Hochul’s Office of Children and Family Services that limits the financial support adoptive families can give even out-of-state birth mothers.

The controversial restriction, which covers birth moms in New York, too, says financial help can only be made 60 days before the baby is born and 30 days after birth, severely hindering help for the biological moms at crucial times of need, critics say.

Hochul is one evil POS. But I'm thinking that white suburban women, New York will love this. Correct me if I'm wrong

Of course they would.

The left’s blood lust is never sated.

They’ll love it because they will never acknowledge that what is being “aborted” is an innocent unborn child that deserves to live. Until you can pin them down and rub their nose into this scientifically verifiable fact, they’ll still be hee-hawing about “reproductive choice.” Unfortunately, as of late, many “conservatives” (including some FReepers) are ready (for political gain) to compromise on the bloody slaughter of the innocents.

NY has always been a very difficult state for adoption. Almost no adoption agencies will work with New Yorkers trying to adopt outside of NY. See my tagline.

If this article is correct the adoptive parents can’t give assistance to the biological mother?

It’s their money and they aren’t free to do with it what they choose?

How is that choice?

Of course killing American babies clears the way for migrants to replace them.

(Oops I just said “replace”. I must be a racist conspiracy theorist!)

Obviously charitable organizations that offer help to women seeking an alternative to abortion need to change the focus of their work to helping the new Sanctuary City residents. Once they do that the government money will once again help fill the coffers.

It has always been easier to get an abortion than to adopt a child. It is also far easier to get an abortion than to put a child up for adoption.

One of the major selling points of abortion has always been its convenience. It’s hard and it takes a planned, deliberate effort to be responsible and take the necessary measures to avoid pregnancy. It’s so much easier to just give in to carnal desires and kill the resulting kid later. Those who are using abortion for birth control because of its convenience aren’t ever going to put up a kid for adoption—that’s infinitely more inconvenient than even using contraceptives.

Nope.

Those are the women who want to adopt.

But the headline is an overstatement. It was always harder to legally adopt than to get an abortion.

Well duh, that’s a stupid comparison. You don’t need a homestudy and a background check for an abortion. You never did.

Until this country repents from decades of killing our babies, we can expect God's chastisements to continue.

If you're looking around in amazement at the rapid decline of the American culture, take a moment to reflect on the extent to which we've turned our back on God.
