What in tarnation is an "HIV-related crime?"

Maryland has one HIV-specific criminal law that makes it a misdemeanor for a person living with HIV, who is aware of their HIV-positive status, to “knowingly transfer or attempt to transfer” HIV to another person.

I'm honestly shocked that Sissy-Maryland has more robust laws against HIV transmission than my conservative Texas.

Thanks for a clear explanation. IOW, people who will not modify their horn dog behavior even when they know they are infected with an STD. Yours was the first post to explain it properly and not make a joke out of what is far from a joking matter.

Thank you!
