Feels a little like those protests in the summer of love 2020 were just theatre. Protesters didn't rush the police and vice versa, except for some projectile throwing from both sides and fires. Some people arrested, then most of them let go later. You know, "mostly peaceful protests". Now, some kid in Kenosha shot one of the bastards who didn't have the sense not to chase someone who is armed and that was a big, big deal.

The images from those protest, and they were staged purposely for the cameras, had an affect on America's mood, perhaps more than to just influence the election. Jan 6 was real, visceral, grass roots anger. It really scares our overlords. We can't underestimate the left's capacity for plotting, planning, controlling, and organizing mayhem and discontent. All it takes is money and they have lots of it. Remember, the money raised for BLM, one of the arms of this octopus, went straight to democrat coffers via ActBlue.
