There is nothing wrong with registering people to vote.

Yes, there is. It leaves open the floodgates for voter fraud.

If people want to vote, they need to go themselves and register in person, providing proof of citizenship.

That’s not how its worked for about 30 years. We need to catch up to the times.

And why isn’t Trump registering people at his rallies? Why aren’t country bands doing to same thing? NFL games should have booths.

Your viewpoint is old fashioned, and discounts the ability of the government to confirm Identify. I know they can confirm it online in MA because I was able to disenroll myself from the GOP online just a few months ago.

You wonder why the Republicans are losing all over the place? It’s because they do nothing to get people involved on their side. They expect Trump to ‘bring in the voters.’ That did not work last time and its not going to work next year.
