Why isn’t the U.S. doing more to secure our borders? Ed Calderon spent 12 years policing the most violent drug cartels. Ed says we have a moral obligation to warn our citizens of imminent danger.
No surprise here; someone is paying off politicians who want to keep the border open for a free flow of drugs into the Country across the border without restriction.

And, unfortunately, a lot of businesses like the cheap labor - homebuilders, agriculture, food service, health care, unskilled manufacturing, landscaping, etc. At the least, they do not oppose the supply of cheap labor.

Because they HAVE to.
If your competitor is undercutting you with lower costs, then he gets the business. So you HAVE to compete by hiring at the same rate or lower.
Unless everyone respects the rules - you can only hire citizens or lawful permanent residents - then this is the iron rule you have to live by: hire the cheapest labor possible.
My guess is Cartels are working with Chinese/democrat traitors who sell out our country for cash, diamonds, young children and other 'favors'...

If the U.S. had a real “free press”, instead of the chained-to-the-Left media we have, the interview with the former Mexican officer would be on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC major primetime news and their Sunday talking heads shows.
Instead, you can only get the truth in all the alternative media sources.
