This is bull. The early decision applications were due WAY before those doofus college presidents testified to congress. My middle son applied early action to Brown University. Everything was due by October 1st.
In fact, we already found out he got deferred into the general admission pool. This past Friday the news came out. 6,244 kids applied early action to Brown, they accepted 898. Now we have to wait until March 1st to see if he gets an offer.
I’m sure the timeline for Harvard and the other Ivies is basically the same.
Maybe instead it’s reaction to Harvard’s AA program being found unconstitutional?
I went to Brown for a year-70s and would not recommend it
