I used to hate everything Apple. Then my work forced me off Android and onto Apple. I fussed and complained for weeks…then realized I had no freeze ups or reboots in a long time. It was then, I grew a fondness for Apple. I also have two Apple TV boxes (from fire sticks) and a 12.9” iPad Pro that I use for sheet music and a iMac 21.5” and MacBook Pro 15”….the beauty with all this Apple stuff, if I spent a total of $350 for everything used. It’s all running the most recent operating systems and I get to update no charge as long as I have these. Yes, some knowledge of OCLP and other tricks help, but they all work much faster than a windows machine and I rarely (if ever) have to reboot.

It’s a good product if you look into working it a bit.

Correction, it was all $350 but $150 additional for the iPad Pro. All bought on eBay or market place

My experience is that Apple h/w and s/w don’t “always work”.

Not too much Android stuff here, but mostly Linux desktops and a couple of greatly tech lagging M$ laptops [that can also be run from a Linux USB sticks.

My job required running a lot of legacy software the was Windows based. When I semi-retired the phone I got to use was an Iphone (I didn’t own a smartphone personally) So when I decided to get a phone I went Apple (6S). From there I picked up an iPad and added a keyboard and use it like a laptop. When my Dell tower was dying, I decided that since I didn’t need to work with others I got the iMac 21.5 and love it. I like how everything works together.

My first computer was an Apple. Bought it used from my oldest son who was an Apple user. It was a Performa 405. Back then they sold everything you'd need in a package. Since then, I've only owned Apples. My old iMac lasted about 12 years. My old MacBook Pro lasted almost as long. I replaced it three years ago with a MacBook Air. I'm hoping this is the last laptop I'll ever have to buy. They may cost more, but I believe you get your money's worth in the long run, because if you don't abuse them, they will last for a long time.

And my son who introduced me to Apple computers, hasn't used them in years, because his job requires him to use PC's.

I’m now using an Apple Computer after putting it off for sometime because it does work differently. But I agree it’s faster and no issues as freeze or having to reboot - plus no worms and creepy crawly things...lol...mine is a MacBook Pro laptop computer.
