North Korea says its satellite photographed White House, Pentagon

WASHINGTON — North Korea claimed Tuesday its recently launched reconnaissance satellite had snapped photos of the White House, Pentagon, and key US military installations across the world — though questions remain about the technology’s capabilities.

Dictator Kim Jong Un has personally reviewed the images, which were captured late Monday, Pyongyang’s Korea Central News Agency propaganda service claimed.

“[Kim] also received in detail satellite photos of the Norfolk Naval Station, the Newport News Dockyard, and an airfield of Virginia,” KCNA reported.

I imagine the very vast majority of NK’s have never experienced the unrestricted internet nor have they heard of google maps and this must seem to them as being really cutting edge.

Ham radio operator here. I’m not a satellite guy, but I am aware that a lot of operators have tried listening for it, but no one has been successful. My best guess that it is bricked or never intended to operate.

I hope they did not spend too much. I just checked google maps and was able to see the white house without putting a satellite into space.

(Maybe that is what their rocket scientist did but told DEAR LEADER they took the photo.)

Google has maps, pictures, vectors, and co-ordinates for every square inch of Mother Earth.

Like any one of us on the planet, Kim can be incinerated in a matter of minutes or seconds.

Looks like Kim Jong Un better buy a clue.
