President Biden is giving a solo press conference after his meeting with Communist Chinese leader Xi. It's well past his bed time, so who knows what he might say.
The conference was supposed to start at 7:15 PM Eastern, now over an hour late. The reporters are done preening, so maybe getting close to starting...

And they just make themselves look more and more foolish, doing so. Even Axelrod, who has recently broached the subject of Biden’s “age” says that his concern is about appearances. I’m paraphrasing from memory, but he said recently, something to the effect that, “His behavior gives the APPEARANCE of cognitive decline which, despite the leadership he may be exhibiting in the background when he’s off camera, makes it APPEAR that he is suffering from cognitive decline”.
Yes, I saw that. Grant Stinchfield talked about it on his show tonight. I think he said that they were brought in by Xi’s entourage, and that China brought people over or paid people to line the streets with them.

My mother in law has dementia. She is in a more advanced stage. If I was comparing stages of 1 to 10 she is in a 7 and Biden is in a 3. Horrible disease!

It’s a terrible disease and I am empathetic for him. When he is aware, it has to be so frustrating.
But, he shouldn’t be in his job. He should write pardons for everyone and then resign. Or Jill could write them.
The meeting place is called Filoli Gardens. Beautiful 20th century mansion and large gardens. TV show Dynasty used an Ariel video of the mansion in the intro. As an avid flower photographer, I have been there numerous times.
I told my girlfriend that the place will need to be disinfected after the meeting today.

John Bentley’s Restaurant used to be fantastic in Woodside, but it closed in 2010 (very sad).
Another great loss was Bella Vista up on Skyline which closed in 2013. We had my wife’s 60th birthday party there!
Biden and Xi should have gone to the beer garden at the Alpine Inn (Rosottis for old timers) for another “beer summit.”
