Yes, it is fascinating to me to hear the critics on this thread for Flynn. Makes me wonder exactly what these folks have sacrificed or endured to have such negativity. A man does not rise to the level that Flynn has reached by being a coward or ignorant or a liar. I’m sure he has a very good reason for making this sort of allegation public and keeping the individuals un-named.
The number of whistle-blowers that are now coming forward in the FBI/CIA to reveal the deep-state appears to be increasing daily. Perhaps he is trying to goad some of these people or encourage them a bit by his statement? He may also wish to put pressure on some of these congressmen or better yet impress upon them a need to confess their actions. Guilt can be a very powerful force (”A Telltale Heart”).
I don’t think there are many here on FREEP that deny what Flynn is accusing is true. Perhaps his statement is a call to action for us all??
Sure...but as I have been cogitating on this today, I thought Flynn should absolutely engage someone in government, when I realized...who?
Senators or Congressmen? No way. Every single one of them with a few exceptions would throw sand in the gears, because they could be exposed. I think it is that widespread.
FBI/DOJ? Absolutely not. They are the root of the problem.
And the more I thought on this today, my heart sank. I felt as if there was no way out of this. The people we need to engage to put it right are too deeply involved if not with actual abuses, but are heavily influenced by those who ARE actively involved.
Sigh. Well. We shall see. I am not feeling sanguine, though.
