Israel’s defense minister has told soldiers near the country’s border with Gaza that he has "removed every restriction" and "we will eliminate anyone who fights us" ahead of an expected ground invasion of the Hamas-controlled territory.
The comments from Yoav Gallant came as Israeli airstrikes hit the family home of Mohammed Deif -- the reclusive leader of Hamas’ military wing – in the Gaza city of Khan Younis late last night, killing his father, brother and two other relatives, a senior Hamas official told The Associated Press.
The Israel Defense Forces have been unrelenting in their retaliatory strikes against Gaza following Saturday’s attack by Hamas, posting Wednesday that "A short while ago, the IDF struck an important Hamas operational, political and military center in Gaza -- the Islamic University."
"We will not allow a reality in which Israeli children are murdered," Gallant said in a meeting with Israeli soldiers near the southern border on Tuesday, according to the AP. "I have removed every restriction -- we will eliminate anyone who fights us, and use every measure at our disposal."

Why would the Isralies allow anyone to leave? If they allow free passage, Hamas will be the first to flee.
Kill everyone....Hamas has earned this..give to them good and hard..no quarter.
Oh, and Joe..give the $6 Billion to Israel. They can use it to rebuild the villages destroyed by Hamas.

If the UN was true to it’s charter and guiding principle there would already be thousands of UN Troops on the ground to locate and rescue the hostages HAMAS is holding within the Gaza strip.
And they would be locating and taking the HAMAS leaders and grunts into custody or sending them off to keep Satan company.
Think of how quickly and forcibly the UN (and the USA) moved into Serbia and Bosnia to protect muslims there.
But even though our USA government largely finances the UN with our tax money our weak-kneed “leaders” don’t have the spine to push the UN to take any action that is opposed by muslim terrorists.

IMHO after this HAMAS attack when dealing with these blood thirsty death-cult animals and their poxy "religion" there is no such thing as unnecessary violence.
Anyone taking up arms for Hamas should be shot dead.

I didn’t hear Israel say “free passage” nor do i think they will assist after they bombed the gateway into Egypt they were using to escape.
The Gaza Strip is a free fire zone. Hope the Jews have plenty of ammo.
Use of tactical nukes is on the table if Israel deems it appropriate.

Why put valuable IDF ground forces at risk?
The slightest resistance or uncooperation should be met with death
Why the warning? Did they gives Israel one, no!
It shouldn't matter if there's a sniper on the roof or not. Send artillery first to pound everything to rubble, move tanks and infantry in to mop up any survivors, and then bulldoze everything that's left.

How do they know if they are still even there? Might have done some border hopping by now.

24 hour notice? Methinks that is too long.
My understanding is that when IDF shells a building occupied by some civilians in Gaza, they will notify by leaflets, texts, and other messaging that a shelling will occur in 10 minutes. They are advised to get out and leave. Then the shelling occurs as promised.
That speaks to the precision of the missiles/artillery of the IDF. I haven’t heard, but I suspect that Humint and other intelligence is gathered by the activity after the warning. The long black plumes seen on television indicate that a fuel or ammo position was hit. In other words, the color of the plume indicates that the strike is decimating the needed resources of Hamas.
I also suspect that IDF has humint on the ground in Gaza that is directing target identification. All while having to be wary of the Northern front with Lebanon. It is truly a fight or flight moment for Israel - and there is no direction or country to which to flee.
The activities of the IDF in this matter will be studied at length at West Point and military schools for many years. There will be lessons to learn and of which to be wary. Ultimately it will confirm Sun Tzu and his writing.
I’ve thought that in spite of creating a refugee issue, the entire peninsula of Gaza should be converted to rubble and ashes.
