The author is correct. No truce. But Hamas is playing its cards wisely here.
The call for a truce will give the Islamist propagandists a bit more to work with.
And make to mistake about it. The call for a truce will win over many liberal mush-heads (the pope, the UN, many Democrat senators, etc.). This will put more unfair and unnecessary pressure on Israel.
Anyway, no truce regardless.
Very few people, even Senators, are going to be fooled by calls for a truce.
This is like the Nazis asking for a Truce in April 1945.
