I’m seriously asking you because I think you’re just posting this to “win” an argument rather than convince. However, I really do want that to be untrue.
The Russians invaded the whole country of Ukraine, and they can stop. They can offer up a independent vote of the “returned” Oblasts. But none of this had to become a war that is now in stalemate. And this stalemate is not beneficial to them or Ukraine.
At some point negotiations have to happen—or total war and millions dead.

Now he refuses to address more aid to Ukraine saying he will end the conflict within 24 hours of assuming the Presidency. Trump knows the US holds the leverage to end the conflict. Without our aid, which funds the entire government of Ukraine from the bureaucrats to the military to the pensioners, Ukraine can't continue the war. We can and should broker an end to this war.
At some point, Trump may be forced to take a position on more aid for Ukraine, but right now he seems to be threading the needle staying above the fray.
