For Shreve, that was a shock. The data consultant decided to invest in an electric car after Covid when he had the opportunity to work from home and did not need the longer range of a gas vehicle. "Invest" in an electric car? A new car is not an investment. It never has been.
He shoulda bought a 10-year old Toyota Corolla and put the rest of the money in Tesla stock.
