Oh no. R.I.P.
Let the question be asked then, was it the VAX?
“Come Monday” is an all time favorite from when I was a newlywed. Absolutely love that song. Rest in peace, man.

Funny, I always took him at his word. But evidently he didn't waste away in Margaritaville.
Sorry to hear this. He was a talented entertainer. May he rest in peace.
I open many of my dance programs with a line accompanied by “Another Saturday Night”. It shall have new meaning going forward. RIP Jimmy!
RIP. Good memories associated with his tunes.

Live version of “He Went to Paris” from this past February.
“But he don’t care what most people say
Through 86 years of perpetual motion
If he likes you he’ll smile then he’ll say
Jimmy, some of it’s magic, some of it’s tragic
But I had a good life all the way”
Deeply saddened, I saw him in concert four times.
Oh no...
RIP, Mr. Buffet.
He was about to quit the music biz then wrote Come Monday and well the rest is history. He was broke before.
I’ve seen him at least a dozen times going back to the mid 80s. I loved his music and could not care less about his politics. His music was not political and he never preached at you from the stage like so many do.
Someone once called him a “one man walking spring break” and his music brought you back to those days before “grown up” realities and pressures set it.
RIP Jimmy but your music and the feelings it produced will live on. Now who will be the next to carry the torch?
Horrible news
He was well loved here in Cincinnati,
My late dad had a copy of his “Feeding Frenzy” live album from 1990 in his car when I cleaned it out after he passed.
I’ll be playing it today
Love “One Particular Harbor’ and “Fins”

For a few odd reasons he became the sound track of my life for a year in 1996. He was on my car and house stereo constantly and also on the boat. I think he sure did what he wanted to do as an entertainer. RIP
Most concerts i ever attended by a single artist.
RIP...
