Early this morning the Yucatan buoy not too far from the storm recorded this in knots:
2023-08-28 02:40 am S 40.8 56.3 13.1 - 6.2 S 29.37 - 79.7 85.5 79.3 - - -
That’s 40.8 knots sustained with a gust of 56.3 or
47 mph sustained along with a gust of 64 mph now thats before this thing even gets going it has gusts near hurricane force,
this bears wathcing,IMHO.

Pinellas County (St. Pete/Clearwater) begrudgingly called for Zone A evacuations late this afternoon. Could be a lot of the inertia and apathy is due to the state of the nation, with the worst excuse for a POTUS in history.

Yeah that's for sure. some are in permanent bad moods due to the dirty dems destruction of a once great nation.
St.Pete and Clearwater will certainly be in the fray of all this. Will they get a direct hit? No one knows but why risk it all.
You put up with a lot of BS on this thread. Can't believe people are so crazy to interrupt the good work you do here. But I guess some are that nuts. DeSantis is all over this storm and has done a tremendous amount of pre-staging. He has the state ready for whatever hits. He's all over this storm and doing a fine job.
