It is like the writers at Breitbart. They rarely use the words “Rio Grande”. Instead it is just this ambiguous term “border river”.

“Russian technology” and “failure” always belong in the same sentence

this is why Russia can’t win in Ukraine against superior Western weapons LOL

According to Wikipedia, Russia’s record on lunar missions is 18-38-2 (successful-failure-partial failure). So it would have been a bigger surprise if Luna-25 had been successful.

you’re right, Russia is in serious denial about its inability to win in Ukraine

Even though hand held hps were aavilable...one math teacher insisted we use the slide rule...because...our brain should know the approximate answer...before we grab the calculator.

I learned to use a slide rule in jr. high school, back when consumer calculators were not yet available.

I bought my first calculator in high school. It displayed only 6 digits and could only perform basic functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).

The most successful calculator ever sold is the HP 12C financial calculator. I bought my first one in 1982 and still use it. The amazing thing is that HP has continued to sell the same model for over 40 years and continues to sell it today. They have upgraded the internal hardware over the years (mostly to make them cheaper to produce), but the functions and form factor remain the same.

I still have my two original HP 41cv and 41cx. I think they used one of them on a space flight...and it’s at Brown University now.
