Not true. Four of America’s moonwalkers are still alive: Aldrin (Apollo 11), David Scott (Apollo 15), Charles Duke (Apollo 16), and Harrison Schmitt (Apollo 17).

Lt. General Thomas Stafford, 92, is still alive. He was the commander of Apollo 10.

I was fortunate to attend a banquet lunch four years ago where he was the keynote speaker.
