Bill introduced in Senate to ban sex-change surgeries, hormone treatments for minors
The Washington Times ^ | 07/22/2023 | Alex Miller

Sen. J.D. Vance has introduced legislation that would make gender-reassignment treatments for minors a federal crime.

Mr. Vance’s bill, the Protect Children’s Innocence Act, would ban gender-transition surgeries, puberty blockers, hormone treatments and other transgender-related medical care from being provided to minors.

People that administer gender-change treatments to children would be charged with a federal class C felony, which carries a sentence of 10 to 25 years in prison.

The bill prevents federal funding from going toward transgender surgery or treatments, including blocking Affordable Care Act insurance plans from paying for the procedures. Mr. Vance’s measure would also ban universities from teaching about gender-reassignment treatments, and prevent illegal aliens that performed transgender-related medical procedures on children from getting visas.

“Under no circumstances should doctors be allowed to perform these gruesome, irreversible operations on underage children,” Mr. Vance, Ohio Republican, said in a statement. “With this legislation, we have an opportunity to save countless young Americans from a lifetime of suffering and regret.” ***

ban universities from teaching about gender-reassignment treatments” Banning teaching violated Amendment I and is unconstitutional.

I saw this in the article and wondered if teaching ban at universities was an intentional poison pill, rendering the bill dead on arrival.

As for the Federal government regulating surgery, one person's surgery is another’s mutilation. Kenny Rogers face job comes to mind. Then there is the question about circumcision - a less extreme form of genital mutilation.. One thing is for sure, gender dysphoria has always existed. However, what is going on now is a sick cult like fad with life altering consequences.

About time!

The protocols for addressing gender dysphoria were changed when a pack of liars canceled Dr. Kenneth Zucker (only one of the world’s leading experts on this issue). He was against “affirmation” in children and required extensive endocrinological/genetic testing to see if there was an underlying medical condition that could be effecting the patient’s hormones. For those kids, there were already treatment protocols in place to help mitigate the dysphoria.

He would subsequently be vindicated in court, but at that point, the damage was done.

They removed his recommendations and went all in on “affirmation,” leading to the butchery we see today. Gone was the extensive testing requirement; feelings were enough. Gone was the reparative protocols; transition was the new agenda. The “doctors” running the show now don’t even want to acknowledge that there might be an underlying medical condition because that would expose their fraud, leaving those legimately struggling with them to be marginalized, silenced, and destroyed on social media.

The number of people with these rare conditions is tiny. The people born with them who also suffer from dysphoria is smaller still. I know, my kid is one of them. Even among them, 80% will stop being dysphoric once puberty ends. Only the unfortunate 20% will deal with it for the rest of their lives (approximately .001% of the population). Unlike how the media portrays it, GD is a hellish existence.

The sudden explosion of trans people is social contagion, brainwashing, or people trying to get one over on the system. It is statistically impossible for all these people to be trans.

Further, there is no legitimate medical reason to transition children...ever, and they know it.

“I’m sure there must be something in federal law that prohibits this.”

Chopping off naughty bits is a service. Regulating services in the states is a state level job.

“It is fundamentally wrong, so there must be a solution.”

Tort law is meant to compensate for wrongs.

If state law says an employer can whip Mr. Indentured Employee or Mrs. Whack Job is authorized to have 16-year-old Jane Job’s boobs sliced off, such safe harbor laws should be considered invalid by state courts if possible under the state constitution.

I believe that after flirting with the child trans cult, Norway reinstituted the policy of prohibiting child trans surgery as well as pharmaceuticals for transitioning.

It seems like this nation is careening from one mass hysteria event to another. From the COVID psychosis to the trans mutilation cult.

Perhaps something like this:

No state ‘safe harbor’ law with regard to transformative gender dysphoria treatment in children shall deny in violation of the US Constitution any due process right to appropriate compensation to mentally disturbed or incompetent persons when such treatment could be reasonably considered inappropriate at the time it was provided.

““A lot of people have done what is the worst thing you could do, which is to harm their children irrevocably... Those people will have to believe that they did the right thing for the rest of their lives, for their own sanity, and for their own self-respect. “

Exactly this.
Once they’ve been deceived into this horrible infraction on their children they are committed to advocate it forever. And it is a powerful thing to be bound by guilt and shame to defending the mutilation of a healthy child. They will defend those positions fanatically and with their lives. So evil is their action that it’s unthinkable and painful for them to even consider that what they did is wrong. There is an impenetrable wall that protects them from seeing the evil they’ve committed. Because to confront that reality would reveal the monstrous deed they’ve committed. They’re not going to do it.

Battle lines have been drawn. Both the for and against sides will receive ammunition from the bill. Not much will change.

There was a reason that you didn’t hear about “trans” before 2012; as I mentioned before, it is statistically a miniscule portion of the population. Those impacted by it dealt with it privately and tried to live life as best they could while never escaping the reality that they are outside of society. They are not evil, pedos, deranged, etc. They are suffering from hormonal imbalances that impacted their bodies and neural pathways. It would be like hating someone born with a missing limb or diabetes.

What’s happening now is a whole different animal altogether. Pushing confused or groomed kids to Frankenstein their bodies is antithetical to actual medical fact. It is an abomination.

Also, the amount of evil, freaky, pedos climbing on the trans bus makes me sick to my stomach. Drag queens are not trans. Cross-dressers are not trans. You don’t just wake up one day and decide to be trans. That is not how this works and it’s beyond insulting to people who deal with GD that these folks are claiming the trans mantle as their own. It would be like people proudly boasting they have a rare, incurable cancer...just bizarre.

I had to take my child to 3 different teams of Endocrinologists before they finally ran the ACTH test I wanted because of the “affirmation” protocols. Turns out I was right. She had a congenital endocrine disorder. Unfortunately, there was no cure. But because they kept gaslighting me, we missed the window to begin reparative treatment and the damage was done. Her body was masculinizing naturally during puberty because her system was off. We could have stopped it if Dr. Zucker’s protocols were still in place.

Can you see why I despise these activist, agenda-driven monsters? I’m glad people are fighting back.

This bill will show very clearly who is Satanist and who is not in the Congress. You will see far more Satanists. Take that into account.

I’ve got a better idea:

How ‘bout we end the statutes of limitations for harm and inform that no insurance will cover these procedures?

That would put these so-called “hospitals and doctors” on the financial hook for good.

Conservatives should quit following the Left/Progressives into making the federal government the top cop, and leave to the states law enforcement matters that belong legislated in the states.

It’s only because we sane folks never dreamed that such a thing could happen that it is happening. Our founders were not science fiction freaks.

You cannot kill a child, even if the child wants you to, so how can you mutilate one? That is irreparable harm. It’s just common sense. I know there is a way out of this without leaving it to the crazy states to decide. We just haven’t found it yet.
