Climate change is making our oceans change color, new research finds

CNN - The color of the ocean has changed significantly over the last 20 years and human-caused climate change is likely responsible, according to a new study.

More than 56% of the world’s oceans have changed color to an extent that cannot be explained by natural variability, said a team of researchers, led by scientists from the National Oceanography Center in the UK and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the US, in a statement.

While the researchers are still working to unpick exactly what the changes mean, what is clear, they said, is that the changes are being driven by human-induced climate change.

I had an 1840 book...with big article on the ocean volcanoes and the "junk" that was released into the atmosphere. I read it maybe 30 or years ago and remember it because it was illustrated. I believe these present day climate scientists, at the behest of the government, have put themselves (and us) in a tiny little box where they can wield power over the masses.

The “color” on your computer screen and TV can be made to be whatever colors you want to see. Blue grass, green skies, its up to you.

But an ocean is more than that.
If you have clouds it may look grey.
If you swim in it may look green
from all the life in there.
If it is dead it looks like the clear blue seas
