DeSantis's campaign tweeted a video to mark the end of Pride month: 'Let's hear from the politician who did more than any other Republican to celebrate it…'
Ron DeSantis's campaign has been accused of homophobia after it tweeted a video highlighting Donald Trump's support of the LGBTQ community, and contrasted it with a bizarre montage of DeSantis's policies.
The DeSantis advert, after footage of Trump, then cuts to a montage of DeSantis striding in a 'manly' fashion across the screen, to a thumping, bass-heavy soundtrack.
The video comes as DeSantis's polling remains stubbornly low, with Trump significantly ahead among primary voters.
Attendee Alexis Spiegelman of Sarasota, Florida, told the New York Times that she felt DeSantis was merely a knock-off of the former Apprentice host.
'I just don’t know why we would want a knockoff when we have the real, authentic Trump,' she said.

Andrew Clark, a Republican strategist - 'Lots of issues with this video,' he tweeted.

Greg Kelly, the flame-throwing Newsmax host, said DeSantis was wrong to bring Caitlyn Jenner into his campaign, defending her as a true Republican and someone to be respected.
'WOW! Ron DeSantis Desperately Attacking CAITLYN JENNER-What's Ron's problem?' tweeted Kelly.

Why are you re-posting this? It’s already been pointed out. This is not from the Desantis campaign, and it says so in the video.
No one with half a brain thinks Trump is on board with the LGBT agenda.
All DeSantis is doing is staining the party with perception that it hates homosexuals even if they are conservative, which is not helpful to Republican candidates.
But, the establishment hates and fears Trump so much, it doesn't care.
It is from his campaign, they use third parties for plausible deniability...there is nothing a third party would do that Desantis campaign would not have given tacit approval...they are losing badly with Evangelical voters (in polls) hence he thinks this will get him their vote...that he thinks that shows he is an idiot and should never be GOP nominee or president.

They do the memes, quick edited pics, etc social media stuff for the desantis campaign.

I’m like Trump in my leanings. He’s libertine. I’m libertarian, but completely fine with whatever social conservative compromises are necessary to keep authoritarian Democrats from power.
The GOP base, however, is firmly anti-pervert (not my term - theirs). Trump’s tolerance and, indeed, words of encouragement for perverts may not fly with the GOP base. DeSantis reminding them that Trump’s beliefs share more with Democrat decadence than traditional right-wing continence could start moving the needle in the governor’s direction.
DeSantis is saying to voters that Trump is the candidate from Sodom and Gomorrah. Whether this takes - who knows? But in a GOP primary where other candidates are basically owned by big donors who are Sodom and Gomorrah-tolerant, this is a chance for him to stand out. His problem is that this could lead to fund-raising issues in relation to big donors.
Unlike Trump, the other candidates won’t be completely in the tank for Sodom and Gomorrah. Trump could have 666 tattooed on his forehead and still win a good chunk of diehard voters. Other GOP hopefuls can’t. But, like Trump, they’re GOPe and very fearful of losing corporate donors, so almost have to join Trump in simping for Sodom and Gomorrah. What to do? What to do?

He lied about 2k people going to the basque fry to see desantis, and said it was comparable to the crowd size to see Trump at the Minden airport..and used as a factual source, an article that said there were 10k people at a Trump rally at Minden.
Then he outed himself as probably never even being at the basque fry, because he didn’t recognize a picture with the desantis family going to the stage with ron to speak.
He should have remembered how they looked, if he watched them going from the stage for ron to speak, right?
Trump has known a lot of gay people in his time as a businessman and New Yorker. Of course he has no issues with gays and thinks gays should be treated fairly. What a dumb thing to attack him on.
