Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis had hoped to elevate Mexico’s detrimental impact on the U.S. economy this month by airlifting Venezuelan migrants seeking asylum near the Texas border to the “havens” of Sacramento and Los Angeles. It turns out that the far right of his own Republican Party was thirsty for another fight. Outraged that Bud Light had partnered with transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney, conservative luminaries such as Kid Rock launched a boycott just as DeSantis was making his California move.

A twisted equivocating mess of propaganda here. Regardless, if Bud Light drinkers switched to Modelo, then they are drinking a far superior beer anyway. They must be confused by a beer that actually has flavor. Maybe they will begin to appreciate good beer, and start drinking some better crafted American beers than Bud Light and Coors Light. Calling Bud Light “beer” is like calling Taco Bell “Mexican food”. Apologies to those freepers who enjoy crappy, flavorless beer...

I’ve given up on DeSantis for 2024, for numerous reasons, but this is simply PATHETIC. If anything, conservatives are HELPING Mexicans to stay put, by buying billions of dollars worth of what is universally considered and EXCELLENT beer, at least compared to Dylan Lite.
