The leader of the Florida Democratic Party filed ethics complaints against three top Gov. Ron DeSantis staffers who asked lobbyists and lawmakers for donations to the governor’s presidential campaign.
The fundraising was first reported by NBC News, which wrote that DeSantis officials were asking lobbyists to donate to the governor’s White House campaign.
DeSantis and his committees received another complaint on Wednesday, filed by the advocacy group End Citizens United with the Federal Election Commission. The complaint alleges that the transfer of $82.5 million from DeSantis’ former state committee to a super PAC backing his presidential campaign was prohibited under federal law.

Since the florida legislature has been bending over backwards to help desantis, since they are all one big swamp, I doubt the complaints will go anywhere

She was the lone Democrat who won a statewide office, Agriculture Commissioner, in 2018. Ironically, it's the Ag Commissioner who oversees Florida's gun permits, so Fried tried to change the gun laws in the state, requiring fingerprints and reducing the term of concealed carry permits.
She also changed the practice of the Ag Commissioner's signature on gasoline pump certification stickers to use her photograph instead. Her critics said she used taxpayer funds to expand her political exposure by putting her picture on all the gas pumps.
She ran for Governor and lost to Charlie Crist in the Democrat primary.
Now she's the leader of the state Democrat Party, who's sole function is to obstruct anything DeSantis.

The transfer of campaign funds, which is a FEC and mccain-feingold violation, I’ve reported on several times.

Fried is a nasty Former Pot Lobbyist and AG Commissioner who won her election in 2018 thanks to Broward county voter fraud machine that Desantis shut down in 2019 . She abused her power to try to strip people of there right to a fire arm . Here you peddle her lies and scams against a fellow Republican.

Well, these creepy Trump cultists are now in favor of an assault weapons ban, child grooming and federally protected abortion.....so it is not a surprise.
Prior to her running, I remember not seeing her face on the pumps. I don’t recall when they started to disappear. Her picture was the first thing I noticed (besides her miraculously being “elected” as the on demon in the administration). I was saddened, but still happy, because I still had my CWP with Charles Bronson’s name on it.

Isn't it usually some quasi-party-affiliated 501(c)(3) non-profit group (like CREW) that files these charges, like when MAGA, Inc. filed ethics charges against DeSantis over running while in office? Don't the parties act like they think it's "unseemly" to be seen directly accusing their opponents of crimes, so they get front-groups to do it for them?
So why is Fried's state DNC doing this one directly?
