You most fear “The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street”
In real life I would be far for afraid of an omnipotent Billy Mumy (It’s a Good Life).

Rod Serling had a great eye for getting everything right! And for scaring everyone to death. LOL!

That one was scary about flying. I would never watch that if I were going to have to get on a plane ever again. LOL!

‘I don’t remember that one.’
the monsters are aliens who are stuying earthlings, and in order to see how they react to crisis, shut off all power; all of it, not just the electricity, nothing runs, not lawn mowers, not cars, nothing...
the people on Maple Street, typical everyday suburbanites, deprived of their creature comforts, become paranoid and suspicious, and turn on each other, reverting to their cavemen instincts, committing murder and mayhem...

The show with a young William Shatner seeing a Gremlin on the wing of a commercial airliner.

Eye of the Beholder. Though, in truth, none of them scared me. I loved TZ as a kid, still do.

The only thing that creeped me out about it was the thought of the plane crashing. Even as a little kid I thought the creature was hokey. LOL
Twilight Zone didn’t scare me, except for that one episode. A lot of episodes made me laugh a little and a few made me sad.
Mom was a horror fan and took me to see scary movies at the theater when I was young. Twilight Zone was tame, in my mind. But it was very good. I still watch it from time to time.

Howdy, Kathy.
I hope the late start on getting what you needed didn’t mess you up too bad today. A LITTLE sleep tonight would be nice.

Good for him! And them! LOL
Though horror movies today are different from the movies when I was growing up. Today, they’re more “gore-or” than horror. Back in the day, plenty was left to the imagination and mine’s pretty vivid. I could scare myself better than Hollywood could. LOL

As someone who loves to read, I thought that one was so sad. Same here. At the end of the episode he says, “That’s not fair!” I always thought the same.

How are things up your way these days?
It’s been a little on the cool side here the past week but now summer is slamming in hard and hot.
