The left-wing Labour Party is reportedly prepping plans to ban all new oil and gas developments in the North Sea and only provide loans and investments to so-called green projects.
Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer, who is widely predicted to become the next prime minister of the United Kingdom, is set to make the green agenda a central feature of his pitch to voters in the upcoming general election.

Makes perfect sense. When you ban the use of natural gas, why bother extracting it from the earth?
The Tory Party in the UK has been so disastrous for the country, the Labor Party will sweep them aside in the next General Election, the UK will go from a slow-motion disaster to a disaster happening at lightning speed.
If I lived in the UK, I would be stockpiling everything I could, just in case and ride out the disaster that is coming their way.

Want to ban guns? Look at the failure of Prohibition.
Want to go green? Look at the failure in Sri Lanka.
Etc.
Unfortunately, these lessons are usually ignored. Why? Because, “This time it will be different.” But of course it never is.
