Sure, but in general conclusions the can be drawn from the nature of one’s financial supporters.
For example, one candidate might receive most of his money from wealthy elitists with clear financial interests while another might find their campaign predominately fueled by small individual donations.
I believe that DeSantis is not really running for this election, but to elevate his visibility for the future.
The only way DeSantis’ run makes sense, is because he knows that the gutless, ball-less RINO/Repukelican letter-writers and the Demonic Party are colluding to ensure President Trump never gets the nomination, through lawfare, erecting political and legislative hurdles, and constant TDS bloviating through the media, which tells me everything I need to know about him...

He shouldn’t be running. He should be doing the job. He was already elected to do. He should pay attention to Florida and do the best job possible for us. He has forgotten about who bring him to the table. That’s not good. Not good for his future at all. I think he’s ruined his chances.

He’s setting himself to wind up like Rubio and Cruz.. meaning most likely outcome is not only that he will lose the primary, but do damage to his long term brand and ambitions in the process.
I have said it before, and I’ll say it again, I hope the establishment/globalist/uniparty folks gave him a really big check, because the odds of him getting the nomination are next to nil, but the odds of him winding up being damaged long term are astronomically high.
If his goal is just to run to build a donor network etc for a later run, I get that... but that would be a low key type of race where you know you aren’t going to win and honestly aren’t trying to win, just trying to build your groundwork for a real run later, however that doesn’t seem to be what her is trying to do ... and he’s going to just get destroyed.
How do you come back in 2028 or later, when the counter argument will be, YOU COULDN’T EVEN WIN THE PRIMARY IN YOUR HOME STATE WHEN YOU WERE GOVERNOR?
Do you think those same folks are going to let him win if he were going to be the nominee?
They have been trying to pump him for at least 6 months now and its not working, but lets just say Desantis does get the nomination, do you really think all that press pumping him up to try to take out Trump as the nominee is going to continue if he were to become it? Or will you see overnight, how he is now the antichrist?
Have you learned nothing from McCain, Romney, et al? Press pushed them and lauded on them through the primaries, but once they were the nominee, they were now the antichrist in terms of the media coverage.

Trump has learned to trust nobody the hard way. Ron has been in Congress already but appears to still be ignorant about who to trust.
Had a Dem had this happen they would have been lauded for crashing the servers.

Well, I think the "talking heads", "pundits" and other so-called "intelligentsia" under estimated (and STILL DO) the breadth and depth of the total hatred for Hildabeast and the klintons, so even those who thought that Trump might have ulterior motives, voted for him.
