Republican presidential hopeful Nikki Haley on Tuesday called on New York Gov. Kathy Hochul to pardon Daniel Penny, the Marine veteran charged with second-degree manslaughter for killing Jordan Neely, a mentally ill man, on the New York City subway with a chokehold in April.

Mentally ill, violent criminals and drug-addled homeless allowed to roam free on city streets to prey on innocent citizens is the fault of these Democrat mayors and governor.
A generation ago, the likes of Jordan Neely would have been locked up in jail or a mental institution. Instead, they’re allowed to “live their life” making our streets, subways, parks and public spaces increasingly dangerous.

It’s not barbaric at all to support a person with no criminal past who was just defending himself and defending others.
