Government is the god of atheists. They’re always “going to church”.
Atheist is just a fancy word for “freedom-hating communist”.
There really are no atheists. Government is their god.
The Religious Right is no longer a primarily religious movement - it’s one about cultural conservativism and nearly blind support for the GOP with few trappings of any real religiosity behind it.

Sorry, but this author is a dolt and a mere propogandist.
This is because, as stated several times, their Socialist Government IS their Religion.
They replaced GOD with their little g GOD, GOVERNMENT!
This explains a LOT!
The Republican Party sucks but it’s the best thing we have to fight the Democrats. It’s not blindness. The choice is vote Republican or don’t vote. I will vote Republican before I ever don’t vote. That’s not blind.
Political ideology IS their religion.
Political activism is their religion.
There’s at least two long-time democRAT heathens masquerading as practicing Catholics.
Atheism is a religion, one that has been imposed in many ways upon the government and society via the 1st Amendment, while itself given a pass from the Establishment clause protection.
And just who the else are we going to support? Within the primaries we support the conservatives against the RINOs. The RINOs that win we can only exhort to vote with regard to beating the socialist agenda of the Democrats. So we don't vote for a Republican RINO? Then that gives the government to the Democrats among whom are NO proAmerican members and all of whom vote for socialist processes. The RINOs re sometimes marginally persuadable. None of the Democrats are. The writer is just POed because we are not voting for Socialist Democrats in preference to a RINO.
That is because an atheist’s religion IS government.
Tell the atheists that America began with 13 Colonies because Christ began with Himself and 12.
Tell the atheists that America grew to 50 states because the New Covenant Church grew at 50.
Almost like it’s been Divinely Providential from the beginning of this nation to reflect the New Covenant Church.
Even to its current lawlessness, disorder and Just Us stage..
Btw, tell Evangelicals too..
In a tight race the atheist vote could mean a lot; but in terms of a grassroots groundswell, it just isn’t there.
Pew research pegs atheists in America an just 3%.
I agree, though, that they are quite vociferous and hateful.
They are Anti- Theists. I have met some Libertarian Atheists.
