Eleven days after he killed an unruly passenger aboard a New York City F train by putting him in a chokehold, Daniel Penny of Long Island turned himself him to law enforcement Friday morning.
Penny, 24, voluntarily surrendered at the 5th Precinct police station in Chinatown shortly after 8 a.m.
He is expected to be arraigned in Manhattan criminal court this afternoon on a charge of second-degree manslaughter, which could carry a jail term of up to 15 years.

Although I'm Navy and I'm supposed to give Marines a hard time, I will point out that there is no such thing as an Ex-Marine.

Get a good attorney, take it to trial and make sure you get a sympathetic jury (all subway riders would be one criteria). He will never be convicted.

I’d bet my rental house that this guy serves time. Someone who’s not far left going for a trial jury in NYC is completly screwed. If he had decided to skip bail I would have made a contribution to any fund supporting him.
