It is true that we have been mostly on a downhill course for decades. But I see reasons for hope all the time and everything is cyclic. I am sorry that your view of the world is so fatalistic. If you want to sit around feeling sorry for yourself that is your business. Is that really how you want to live your life?
We have grandchildren who are already married and planning families. They will face challenges unknown to us and will likely have to fight to survive. But they are good kids and I believe that they can do it.
