Ignorance of something simply means that one is unaware of a given fact or truth. Personally I am ignorant on a vast number of issues.
Stating that someone is ignorant of a given subject is stating only a fact and has nor should have any connotation other than that.
Had I stated that the poster was stupid a fool etc. would have been a different story altogether.
You could have just explained how Texas law works without the “Your Ignorance”
