I hate this crap.

The multitude of things these cooks are doing is truly incredible.
And because the media covers for them no one is understanding anymore how crazy this is.
We already have high inflation and low productivity.

Any company can do that on its own. Government has no business “dictating” business hours.

My budget is based on 40.

I hate it too. They'll pay the parasites 40 hours wages for 32 hours of work. We are breeding a lazy bunch shiftless bums.
It is funny, but our competitors are thinking about raising the number of hours in a work week. Korea is talking about going to a 69 hour work week.

So they’ll just offshore more work to India, no limit on how many hours they can work.

32-hour workweek bill reintroduced in Congress... France has something similar, a 35 hour work week, ostensibly designed to increase the number employed, but in reality it is just another socialist ploy.

Will it pass in the House of representatives? Not in this House of Representatives, but it will keep coming up again and again and it can pass in a House with a majority of Dims.

More reliance on government handouts is the goal in everything Democrats do.

Kill the economy (and therefor you and me) by 1000 cuts. It’s what the disciples of Malthus have wanted all along.

Im in the car business. 40 hours a week sounds like a hobby.

I don’t see how this is congress’s job. As with most regulations I assume it will hurt small business more since they won’t be able to afford to pay their workers an entire extra day of over time or hire an extra worker.

I hate Democrat leadership. This shit is inflationary. You are cutting the supply of labor which increases costs.

How much does this have to do with employers being forced to provide benefits to a larger full time workforce?

"...it would contribute to a culture shift across all industries.".
We are overdue on the move to a third world style 'culture' of poverty
and economic collapse.
And yes - Who said that the government can dictate how many
hours I am "allowed" to work? Ain't none of their dang business.
To: ChicagoConservative27
We’ve got to cool down this boiling economy by reducing manufactured goods and services!
After all, i only have to wait 7 months for a dental appt, 3 months for a auto repair appt, and 3 weeks for a haircut now.

Let's see, how does that go again? "Shipping good jobs overseas!" Wasn't that the leftist drumbeat?
