Poll: Donald Trump Leads Joe Biden in Head to Head Matchup

Former President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden in a head-to-head 2024 matchup, a recent McLaughlin & Associates survey found.

The survey asked respondents, “Now, if the 2024 Presidential election were held today, which one of the following best describes how you would vote in the general election for President between Donald Trump, the Republican candidate and Joe Biden, the Democrat candidate, for whom would you vote?”

Trump takes the lead with 48 percent choosing him and Biden falling four points behind with 44 percent support.

Of the 48 percent who said they would vote for Trump, 34 percent said they will “definitely” vote for him, while 33 percent said the same of Biden.

Trump’s lead is even greater among independents — 6 percent, or 43 percent to 37 percent.

When matched up against Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump maintains his lead, 48 percent to 43 percent.

Further, the survey asked Republican primary voters how they felt about supporting Trump in 2024, and 76 percent said they would “support” his nomination. Of those, 46 percent said they would do so “strongly.” Further, 57 percent said they actively want to see Trump run in 2024.

The survey was taken February 17-23, 2023, and comes as other surveys show a close race between the two, with Trump edging out the 80-year-old president frequently.

“It’s the general consensus that Dems are content with Biden in a Trump rematch. But this poll undermines Biden’s central argument for re-nomination. Two years is forever and it’s just one poll, but if he’s faring this poorly after a string of wins, that should be worrisome,” former Obama Cabinet member Julián Castro said of an ABC-Washington Post poll:

Head-to-head does not take into account election fraud. The margins of engineered victory for the Democrats will become wider and wider with successive “elections” and will spread to the congressional and state and local elections until it is truly a One Party State with one top to bottom government. By 2036 we should be experiencing 99% victories for the approved candidates.

RE: Poll: Donald Trump Leads Joe Biden in Head to Head Matchup

What does the poll assume? Did it take the 2020 and 2022 style cheating into account? If not, you can’t take it seriously.

Someone should do a state by state analysis to see how the electoral votes would come out. Can trump win MN, WI, PA, and MI as he did in 2016?

That would be great if Biden was running, but that is not going to happen. Trump would probably face either Newsom or Michelle. They look younger and are a new toy to stupid gimme dat American voters. Trump would lose badly. So I will vote for Trump if it looks like Biden will be his opposition. Otherwise I will vote for DeSantis. I would prefer that Trump
be our President but DeSantis would be a hellava lot better than Gruesome or the Wookie.

Michele Obama won’t run under any circumstances and Newsome won’t challenge Biden if he announces he’s running in the next two months.

IMO the American Establishment is setting up a Biden VS Trump rematch for 2024.

Will Trump’s campaign team actually try to compete with Biden’s campaign team this time around, or just let Biden run roughshod over them like last time around and control the whole narrative uncontested on multiple media platforms? President Trump had such a story to tell about himself, and an opposing story to tell about Biden, which was never told to many. Biden defined himself entirely and the issues.

You think Michelle Obama would actually run?

The rehabbing of Biden in the media is already taking place to cast him as an the “elder statesman” and the “steady hand” - a narrative his media team will no doubt seek to cement in the minds of voters through their ad campaigns like in 2020.

How do you DeSanctimonious ("On the Eighth Day God created a Fighter") supporters manage to so often make up a story so counter to reality where Trump is concerned?

Quite an ugly skill-set you have going on there.

Yeah?…

Trump lead Plugs in 2020 too - BIG time.

WE - the people, do NOT decided our elections anymore.

They did it blatantly in 2020 and nobody REALLY did anything about it.
They now have complete control over them now and will never give that up of their own accord.
