Since when has the postal service started delivering guns to homes? That was stopped back before 1968.

Actually it was a box of inert practice grenades that broke open.

When I worked for UPS, a driver told us that a dud grenade fell out of a box being delivered.
That’s what initiated the entire thing...a dud grenade being sold as a paper-weight.
