I believe this is video is dated. But these were still his own words. I thought it might be of some interest here.

Still don’t completely trust this guy.

Of course there is such a thing as global climate change. The issue is whether there is man made global climate change.

And there is no evidence there is.

The standard groupthink on this forum is that climate change is constant and due to natural causes. If this is the case, the governor of a State with land highly responsive to climate change would indeed do well to “consider” it.

To completely trust anyone other than God is not wise.

Can you think of a time in earth’s history when the climate wasn’t changing?

I believe much of the so called “sea rise” is in fact beach erosion from wind, waves, and storms. Following each hurricane is is clearly evident.

As the sand erodes it appears as “sea rise.”

Smart. Neither do I. Trusting any politician is going to lead to disappointment.

And thank you for making my point. The governor of a coastal State should be interested in (real) climate change. Lots of people should. The US Navy, for example, monitors sea ice changes very closely both short term and long term, for reasons that are good and should be obvious.

In the primaries, I will vote Trump. If DeSantis is at the top in the general, I will vote for him.Ultimately what I’d like to see is Trump in ‘24, Desantis in ‘28. Even better if Trump were to change his residency to NJ, and the two run together, Trump/DeSantis and then in ‘28, DeSantis.

Okay, but other than monitoring climate changes, what could be done about it? Do you seriously think throwing trillions of dollars at the problem will fix it?

Man-made changes have had a huge impact on the Everglades. Canal cutting, chemical run-off, invasive species...but the weather and climate are beyond our control.

To be fair, all he said was the rising sea level was an issue for parts of FL—and that he doesn’t know whether human activity is a factor in that or not.

I’m still more worried about his neocon, pro-war record in Congress.

As I said yesterday - the Deep State gives RDS free range to go wild on issues that do not matter to them one tiny bit.

But touch the big three: Rules-based international order, slow surrender of American sovereignty, and global warming as a tool for global government - then all of a sudden he’s not really Our Guy.
