More than 100 chanting 'Trans Lives Matter' protesters occupy the Oklahoma Capitol building to fight new bill that bans gender-confirming surgery for under 21s

More than 100 chanting 'Trans Lives Matter' protesters descended on Oklahoma's State Capitol building yesterday, occupying the interior rotunda, to protest against a new bill that would ban gender affirming surgery for anyone under 21.

The protesters from Oklahomans For Equality and Freedom Oklahoma started their demonstration outside the building, then moved indoors.

While it remains unclear whether their entry to the building was peaceful, videos show them inside....

Their protest was against a new bill championed by Republican Governor Kevin Stitt, that bans anyone under the age of 21 from undergoing gender reassignment surgery....

“cult”

Trans is a cult funded by billionaires and propagandized by their mass media.

The individuals are mentally ill.

The billionaires are a menace to civilization.

The mass media are a bunch of useless whores.

while the high suicide rate among LGBTQ persons is blamed on societal rejection

And yet the suicide rate is *far* too high for that, and remains high even when immersed in ‘welcoming’ communities, as does general mental illness.

actually, this surprised me a bit. I’d have thought once surgery was performed and the patient realized they couldn’t ‘perform’ as they were led to believe would be possible, the suicide rate would be higher.

But you need to consider more, which is that these are school students who identified as transgender who reported attempting suicide in the last 12 months - not those who become disillusioned later. And yet almost 35% attempted suicide and almost 44% considered doing so. Among adults, Fifty percent of transgender persons in Australia have attempted suicide at least once in their lives, almost the same in England.

Any condition that has such stats should not be considered something to be promoted.

What is being pushed now is one study that says using preferred pronouns greatly reduces youth suicide rate, which stat and causality is dubious.
