mccarthy ‘supporters’ are getting antsy, and as 11 rounds turns to 12 or 13, they will break away. They may or may not join with the 20/21, but stick a fork in mccarthy. And, the deep state cabal he rode in on.
There’s no teeth to any agreement they come up with anyway. They can slow roll anything in there and it will be old news in 3 months.

That’s the way I’d bet. All McCarthy need do is move away from the agreement gradually. Make a little adjustment here, and then later on make a little adjustment there. The next thing you know, it’s back to the Ryan-Pelosi days.

The Rules Package could have been done a month ago.
There is nothing he can do; nothing he can promise; and nothing he can give. This is so clearly personal at this point.
Someone else will be put in. And that someone should cut these folks off at the knees. If the caucus doesn’t understand party politics, the should form their own party and see how that works for them.
These 20 represent a small part of the electorate—the same as the squad. The should be equally marginalized.
If Hannity worked on Fridays, tonight he would start his show saying he had bombshell information about a deal. And it would be funny, almost as funny as the tight M (for McCarthy) cheerleader outfit he is wearing during his show

No one who can get enough votes wants the job. Those who might get enough votes don’t want the job. So the plan that seems to be shaping up is to simply strip the job of all power leaving it merely a title.
