Then why does Oswald shortly thereafter end up getting a job with a firm developing U-2 spy plane photos,

That's nonsense, what company was that? His history with the marines includes two courts martials. He never worked at any military base nor for any company that developed such photos as you claim. Following his return to the US, he never held a legitimate job that he wasn't fired from.

Furthermore, why would the military outsource film development when they have their own facilities that do that sort of stuff?

Sheesh, you're really laying down the crap today.......

Trump said he would release these files and didn’t .
That seemed to speak volumes about the power behind keeping the information hushed .

“Powers screwed up and was snoozing when his auto pilot allowed him to drift under 50K feet, and within range of Soviet missiles.”

Well, that’s one story I guess. Originally the US claimed that Powers blacked out from oxygen deprivation and only accidentally drifted over the Soviet Union. That was admitted to be a fairy tale shortly thereafter. I wonder how you can be so certain the story you are citing isn’t also a fairy tale?

“The overflights weren’t any kind of secret, except from the public at large.”

No, the flights themselves were not secret, but certainly there was a lot of classified information about the planes, their capabilities, exact flight paths, etc, that someone who worked on a radar base that tracked them might have access to.

BTW I don’t believe in magic bullets.

Everything claimed about the magic bullet is bunk. Connally was on a jump seat, and not directly in front of the president. If you place the bodies correctly, the shot aligns perfectly.

The bullet is not pristine. It only looks good from one side. It is severely deformed and obviously fired.

which is proof that the CIA killed a sitting president, as far as I am concerned.

there is no other legitimate reason for them to keep shielding these records after so many years.

That's rich!   An American citizen joins the Communist Party and moves to the Soviet Union and you can't see any reason the CIA would watch the guy like a hawk?

Beyond that, you don't see any reason we would need to keep secret and protect any resources in the Soviet Union who would be compromised even to this day to protect our methods and effectiveness?

I don't understand how anyone cannot see that Oswald was a deranged Commie who traveled to the Soviet Union, expecting them to embrace him as a hero, and got instead suspicion and rejection.   Then in shame and frustration Oswald comes back home and in an "I'll show them" fit of pique, he murders President Kennedy to prove to the Soviets how loyal to the Red Banner he really was.

Understanding human nature isn't Rocket Surgery, and Occam's razor wasn't created from whole cloth.

No, another thing I noticed that the guy in the 2nd & 3rd photos has a receding jaw. Hunt has one like Bush - jutting out a bit. I just hope we get the real story & figure a way to get rid of the Deep State. I love my country, but what I’ve been learning this past few years is beyond heart-breaking.

Based upon all I’ve read, and videos I’ve watched, I would say your speculation is in the top 3.

Ummm....yeah. It went through two bodies and shattered two major bones and lost only 1.5% of its mass. /s I’ll believe Cyril Wecht and John Connolly before I believe Arlen Specter’s fairy tale.

a job with a firm developing U-2 spy plane photos,

That would be Jaggers-Stovall or JCS (I forget what the C stood for). LHO got the job through the Dallas unemployment office, as a trainee at minimum wage. He lasted about seven months before he was "laid-off" (read fired). One reason: He was seen on more than one occasion reading Soviet newspapers. I seriously doubt that a "trainee" would be tasked with developing U-2 photos.

“That’s nonsense, what company was that?”

If you don’t even have the basic familiarity with the case to know what company I’m talking about, why would you say it’s “nonsense”? The company was Jaggars-Chiles-Stovall, in Dallas, TX, who developed aerial and satellite surveillance photos for the US government. Oswald got the job through CIA asset Georges De Mohrenschildt.

“He never worked at any military base...”

He was stationed at Atsugi air base in Japan, which was the Asian base of operations for U-2 flights. Again, you are just showing everyone who actually IS knowledgeable about the case how ignorant you are with these silly denials of well documented facts.

“Following his return to the US, he never held a legitimate job that he wasn’t fired from.”

How would you know that since you have already revealed you don’t even know the names of at least one firm he is documented to have worked at?

“Furthermore, why would the military outsource film development when they have their own facilities that do that sort of stuff?”

You’ve never heard of the government contracting to private companies before? I suppose you also haven’t heard the intelligence terms “cut out” or “proprietary” either?

But just to prove I’m not making this up, here is a government document that admits, in the very last paragraph, that Jaggars-Chiles-Stovall did “confidential” work for “national defense establishments”:

You’re missing the part where this all happened 60 years ago and NONE of the points you bring up matter anymore.

As far as giving away secrets and methods, you honestly think that the spies we had in place 60 years ago in the USSR are still there working away at whatever spycraft they are assigned? Please. Those people and even their successors have retired by now. Your premise isn’t even reasoning. It’s disgraceful to position it so.

WHATS MORE, any of that information that can say or show that information via photographs or whatever CAN BE REDACTED.

Back in the 1980s or even the 1990s right after the fall of the USSR this might have been legitimate reasoning. in 2022, almost 2023, it’s not even close to it.

I'd ask Gary Powers if Oswald had any useful intel. Oh, you can't, the top pilot was killed flying a news helicopter, which is normal.

It's a full metal jacket military bullet. The old style round nose bullets, like this Carcano, are noted for not yawing and coming apart like spitzer bullets. Read up on the Spanish-American War, where through-and-through wounds were common, and survival rates were high. That's one of the reasons modern rifle bullets are spitzer and not round nosed.

“LHO got the job through the Dallas unemployment office, as a trainee at minimum wage.”

He was employed as a trainee, but he didn’t get the job through the unemployment office, but rather through the recommendation of Georges de Mohrenschildt. You may be confusing this with one of his coworkers at JCS who testified to the Warren Commission. That person got his job as a trainee at JCS through the Dallas unemployment commission.

“I seriously doubt that a “trainee” would be tasked with developing U-2 photos.”

Perhaps not, but why would a former Soviet defector be allowed to work at any firm that admittedly did “highly confidential” work for the US government? We also know that besides being simply a “cameraman trainee” as his coworker stated, Oswald must have had access to the lab, since he used that lab to produce his fake Selective Service registration card with an alias.

As a very young woman, I volunteered at the Republican Committee in a midwest, city. collected a lot of $$ from local Republicans. State Finance Chairman was impressed, invited me to to lunch to ask me to move to his city to work for the party as a paid employee. We were having lunch at a very nice restaurant when Walter Cronkite came on announcing JFK’s death. We were devastated, we wanted to beat him politically but didn’t want him dead. End if my political career.

Speculation about JFK’s killer will never stop. No matter who killed him, he’s still dead.

I saw this too. It’s the most plausible. Oswald was shooting full metal jacketed rounds. The one that hit Kennedy’s head left fragments. Different bullet, a 5.56 would do this. Hence Kennedy brain was removed, tucked away, and the whole thing covered up cause the Secret Service screwed up big time.

Nothing unusual about that. You need to get to main street in order to get on the entrance ramp for Interstate 35E northbound to the Trade Mart, where Kennedy had a luncheon and speech lined up. You can’t get there from Main Street which is the usual parade route in Dallas.

But, no one says anything about the driver of that vehicle, or his compatriot in the passenger seat. You see, they would have also been in the hospital with severe ear damage as that gun would have blown out their ear drums.

That second shot was duplicated by an Australian team. They used gel to simulate soft tissue, rope for ligaments and a more dense product for bones in their dummy. It was not a “Magic” Bullet
