I have to admit that I have not studied the Trump statement on the subject. But I’m betting you have it about right.
What I don’t get is the idea that it is a good strategy to give your enemy a pile of ammunition in a supposed attempt to achieve the absolutely impossible replacement of Biden.
Trump is a smart guy, a very smart guy. But I think he made a bad political move on this one. The press will beat him to death over his proposal to “do away with the Constitution”.
The press will beat him to death, regardless of any facts or truths. And President Trump did not propose doing away with the Constitution; the leftist spin machine always twists the narrative in their favor. At least he is going down fighting, and trying to expose the lies of the left. Alinsky tactics being used constantly, will wear down the best of us.
