LSAT is useful because it genuinely keeps dumb people from wasting their time. I know a dude who has taken the bar 3 or more times (I think there’s a limit and he hit it) and just can’t hack it. He got accepted by some black law school where nobody ever passes the bar either. His LSAT score was very very low (unlike mine which was very very high, cuz I’m awesome like that).
Removing it just means they’re either going to have to make the bar exam easier or abolish it. Because you can pass all your exams just like he did but still can’t pass the bar despite spending thousands on special bar classes, books, practice questions, and hours and hours of constant studying.
I mean, a normal person could. But when you’re too dumb it’s not possible no matter how hard you work at it.
Exactly: this move is just a revenue game for law schools. Most won’t even graduate, and those that do — based on lowered standards, won’t pass the bar.
