If the probers are GOPe, it might be political harassment.
He only won once, and it was outstanding; his record is perhaps 1-2-1 if midterms are included. Unfortunately he has alienated too many voters to win re-election in 2024, makes far too many personnel mistakes (unless he is the mistake). His judicial picks were outstanding, as was his foreign policy; his domestic policy was great; he should retire and let the baton pass. Losing twice to Joe Biden … horrible. His stupid attacks on the governors of FL and VA; who does that ? unhinged stupidity.
He would lose GA, AZ, NV, VA, PA, MI, perhaps WI to a beach basement dweller.

Are you under the impression that DeSantis, or any other candidate running against the Democratic candidate, would fare better in swing states after having been subjected to the Alinsky tactics of the left like Trump was/is? At least he has defeated them once (recognized) and once (unrecognized). Remember the full court press employed against Kavanaugh and Barrett? Yes, Trump shoots from the hip too often and is not sophisticated but you can’t deny his conservative results, chief among them being his ability to use American economic power to influence international behavior instead of threatening military force. This cannot be over emphasized and is his lasting legacy in my book.
