Who thinks the pic selection is accidental? Musk is like Trump, a 10-level troll able to get a massive rise out of his enemies while not quite going over the line, but tip-toeing right up to it. OK, maybe a baby toe sneaks over the line.
I remember how masterful Trump was at baiting and trolling the Left. Musk is just having fun. He needs $44 billion worth of fun.

Pigeons would be WW1 not 2. So not NAZI soldiersPigeons we're used in WWII. Not as extensively as WWI, but they were definitely used.

The coal scuttle helmet, the Model 1916 Stahlhelm, was introduced in 1916 and first used widely at the battle of Verdun.
Pigeons were used by both sides in both world wars. The British army used over 200,000 pigeons during WW2. The Americans used over 50,000. The number used by the Germans isn’t known.
The uniform certainly looks WW2 as does what little can be seen of the soldiers accoutrements. I would say WW2 Wermacht.

Could it be the Spanish Civil War? I thought I remembered them wearing the coal-scuttle helmets, but the uniform looks like Wermacht WW 2.

His meeting with the ADL was obvious damage control - now they can’t say anything when he starts ramping things up, because he can just tell them off.
Elon is going to get more authoritarian, banning degenerates, and posting things like a pic of a WW2 Wehrmacht soldier. The guy knows exactly what he’s doing.🇩🇪

Apparently "followers" does not always translate to fans.

The helmet is WW I issue, not WW II.

Each time the Nazi epithet is thrown around imprecisely, I take the time to make clear the translation of the abbreviation for the "National Socialist German Workers' Party," "Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP)."
As the word socialist comes along in the sentence, some liberals say the word is misused. Then I cite, with sources, the official Nazi statements about their anti-capitalism. By the time a liberal plays with the word and gets even a little burned, they tend to shrink away.
I prefer these days to rush ahead to cluster all anti-capitalist parties and group them together. It truly annoys the uninformed liberals.

Each time the Nazi epithet is thrown around imprecisely, I take the time to make clear the translation of the abbreviation for the "National Socialist German Workers' Party," "Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP)." I do that too. I also mention according to William Shirer's "Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" that the reason Nazi flags have red backgrounds is because the originals were made by sewing a swastika over the hammer and sickle on the German communist flags they already had.
I think it was Shirer, but if not, it would have been Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn in "Leftism Revisited."
I sometimes get them mixed up, but the point remains. The National Socialists are a splinter group from the German Communists.

about the worst epithet you can sling at someone is "Nazi
Now I think it's "denier".
A "denier" especially an election, or climate change "denier" is now worse than Nazi.

"The National Socialists are a splinter group from the German Communists."

I'd appreciate a source for that, thanks. Everything I've read shows the NSDAP was the successor to the short-lived German Worker's Party (DAP), which itself sprang from the Political Worker's Circle. All three parties were founded by nationalist, anti-semitic, anti-Marxists and stayed that way.
I'm not finding anything to the effect either group started out as communist then changed; neither am I finding any reference to the Nazi flag having originated from a revised communist flag.
