Just finished it this weekend. I could see things like that happening. No electricity for refrigeration, water processing, manufacturing of medicine, no communication, bands of roving criminals. Scary possibilities.
When you think it through you realize how bad the best case scenario would be. It would be a hellish way to die if you ended up in some post EMP urban jungle.
