Once the Elizabethan era is over, it will be the Chuckian era.

Sad, but she had a long and good life.

Chuck is 73 and well as they said in The Holy Grail, he’s not dead yet.

The way the media reports this, I personally think she is already dead. And I am very sad about this even though my family came from England two centuries ago to get away from Royalty.

God Save the Queen

Whenever she is called home, the comfort will be that she is reunited with her late husband, Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh, who passed 17 months ago on 9 April 2021. At his death they had been married for 74 years and one can only imagine how much of a heartbreak his absence has been for her.

The Queen is truly a classy lady. A great symbol of the greatness that once was the UK.

Charles is a good argument for the abolishment of the monarchy.

Perhaps you are correct. I’m old enough to remember WW2 and her bravery during that awful period, her radio broadcasts as a very young woman urging Brits to be brave, commiserating their losses. Heard them again at a British Royal Family exhibit at the wonderful museum in Vancouver B.C about 18 years ago and they brought tears to my eyes.

When she dies, I’ll cry. But I don’t give a fig about royalty after that.

Bad English in article : The term is ‘crowned’ not ‘coronated’

Praying for her and her family. Is it possible now that Harry is going to be left out?

“Coronated” is the new & improved way to be crowned.

Succession to the Crown is set by law.

It would take an Act of Parliament in each of the Commonwealth realms to change it.
