Paul Pelosi, 82, pleaded guilty to one charge of DUI and has been sentenced to three years of probation and five days in jail, with credit for time served, according to the records. He will also need to do eight hours of a court work program, participate in a drinking-and-driving course that will last for three months, use an ignition interlock device for a year, and pay $150, according to TMZ.

On May 28, Pelosi crashed his Porsche into a Jeep near Yountville, California. According to authorities, he failed his sobriety test and was not steady while being taken into custody. Afterward, it was discovered that his blood alcohol content level was 0.082%.

I’m shocked that a member of the Democrat elite isn’t getting away with it completely.

Jesse Watters at FOXNews is making a big deal out of this - normally democrats get off scot free. Democrats have no shame - but midterms are coming up and they don't want to look as corrupt as they are.

I’m actually surprised he pled guilty.

I suspect he plead guilty and was convicted. However, it is possible the news media has it wrong. He may have plead guilty and was given court supervision(no conviction).

Did he plead guilty to insider trading? If he did, does he get to keep the profits?

The three years probation means it was prosecuted as a felony.

No gun, Paul.

Paul Pelosi, 82, pleaded guilty to one charge of DUI and has been sentenced to three years of probation and five days in jail,

So, for driving drunk and endangering the lives of other motorists he has to spend a paltry 5 DAYS is jail.

Meanwhile, the J6 guy with the funny hat plead guilty to TRESPASSING and was sentenced to 42 MONTHS in jail (plus 6-8 months' time spent being held without bail?).

You’re not supposed to bring that up. That will literally pop the bubble of those who think are justice system is fair and legitimate when it’s anything but.

If you are talking about the person that was supposedly injured-it was the driver of the vehicle Pelosi hit-not someone in his car...

Agreed. This is a standard sentence. I’m not surprised that it didn’t get swept under the rug. The el salty is relatively minor and the rats can avoid yet another glaring example of one sided justice

He is on three years of probation, he already has served two days in jail, he has a $7,000 dollar fine, will do one day of community service and has to have an ignition interlock device that he blows into every time he tries to start his car.
Of course, to a multimillionaire the fine is small and inconsequential. If he gets another DUI he will really spend some time in jail and pay huge fines.
If I had that kind of money I would hire someone to drive me around, but some people just like to drive a car.

Admitttedly I’ve had little to do with the law so it all seems very detailed and the slightest thing can create a gap large enough even a murderer can get off.

“I’m shocked that he was visibly intoxicated after blowing only .082.”

I know. I’m going to guess he was also on typical meds for an older guy his age. Likely some blood pressure med interacting with the booze here.

Or maybe it was the cocaine. The guy might have been having an 80’s night at the bar.
