Well, if it is a law and has been passed by Congress, why does it not apply to the President?
it can’t. The President is the executive branch. Congress has no authority to regulate the actions of the president.
Because of the Constitution! There are rules written in there that lay out qualifications for being a candidate,your age,where you were born,that’s it!
According to Hillary lawyer Democrat Alan Dershowitz you can run for President from prison,that was done intentionally by the founders to prevent legislators who hate their opponents from passing laws to prevent an opponent from running for President.
