The underground economy has been there for a long time. It is huge. Politicians have been afraid to admit it exists let alone do anything about it. What we are about to experience is the result of our government continually kicking that can down the road and it ain’t gonna be pretty, folks.I think you are deluded.
Democrats in big cities do not crack down on gangs, sex traffickers, drug dealers or prostitutes. What makes you think they will go after them using the IRS?
