It was a very short homemade double barrel, visible in this picture at the bottom. Pretty concealable and interesting that he didn't choose the "slide trombone" type of design to make.

Just sad news. I expect that the conspiracy theories will start soon. Abe was pretty conservative fellow. I’m sure the Rahm Emanuels and the Chinese didn’t like him.
